All About Me
A girl from Brooklyn, New York, who grew up in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Dr. Phyllis aka (Dr. Phyll) now thriving in Westampton (NJ) lives and works as an author, teacher, educational consultant, Reverand, track referee, dynamic motivational, and inspirational speaker. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she is respected throughout the community, Dr. Phyll has been called a phenomenal person. Dr. Phyll is known for her compassion, forgiving, trustworthy, and loving spirit. She writes and engages inspiring content that she uses to share her remarkable story ideas and thoughts.
Dr. Phyll shares her stories in her children’s series as well as the lessons she learned about anxiety, depression, financial struggles, and success before and after the loss of her father. She talks about the public health crisis that cannot be ignored: depression and suicide among Black women and teens over the last several years.
Dr. Phyll’s journey led her to a place of hope and healing which allowed her to discover that our truest feelings lie deep within and can be reflected outward to our appearance. Dr. Phyll believes it is so important to openly discuss, empower. embrace and uplift others in any way we can.
A holder of several degrees, including a Doctorate in Education, Dr. Phyll finds joy in volunteering and helping others. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dr. Phyll innovates in her community as an inspirational and motivational speaker. A prayer warrior she uses her voice and strength to pray for hope and healing throughout the nation. She shines like a beacon with the goal of changing the world, one woman at a time.
